ESCORTING 314

Escorting 314 is a single-player game for Oculus Rift and Leap Motion created by a team of five Entertainment Technology students at Carnegie Mellon in two weeks. The player, in the role of a prison guard, is one of the only two survivors of a shipwreck, the other being Prisoner 314. With the lighthouse of the prison island looming in the distance on this particularly foggy night, the player must follow buoys and navigate around rocks to get 314 back to prison. Meanwhile, 314 is not happy and tries to stop the player by blocking their view.

I designed the soundscape for the game, composing the background music and making all the sound effects. I also wrote part of the game's narrative script, and contributed some of the design elements such as the boat-prisoner theme and using a lighthouse to direct the player.
